Privacy Policy
1. Overview
Block Forge is a casual block puzzle game distributed on Google Play. The App does not require an account, does not collect your name, email, or contacts, and stores game progress only on your device. The App does display advertisements provided by Google AdMob; AdMob collects a limited set of data described in section 2.
By installing or using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Data We and Our Partners Collect
Block Forge itself does not collect any personal information from you. No analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, and no first-party server collection is integrated into the App.
The only third-party SDK bundled is the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob). When you see an ad, AdMob automatically collects the following data on Google's behalf so that ads can be served:
| Data category | Why | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID (Android resettable identifier) | Ad serving, personalisation (with consent), frequency capping, fraud prevention | Google AdMob |
| Approximate location (derived from IP address) | Country / region-level ad targeting | Google AdMob |
| Device information (model, OS version, language, network type, screen size) | Ad rendering and serving | Google AdMob |
| Ad-interaction events (impressions, clicks) | Reporting and billing for the advertiser, fraud prevention | Google AdMob |
Outside of these Google AdMob collections, we do not collect:
- Name, email, phone number, or postal address
- Precise GPS location
- Photos, audio, video, or files on your device
- Contacts, calendar entries, or SMS messages
- Health, financial, or biometric data
- Web browsing history outside the App
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following information only on your device, using Android's standard preferences storage. None of this data is uploaded to us or to any third party:
- Best score, total lines cleared, combo statistics
- Daily Brain Power streak counter
- Sound and haptics on/off preference
- Selected language
- Level and master progression
All locally stored data is removed automatically when you uninstall the App or clear app data from Android Settings.
4. How Ad Data Is Used
- Show ads — the App displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads served by Google AdMob.
- Personalised vs non-personalised ads — in the EU / EEA / UK / Switzerland, personalised ads are shown only after you grant consent through the in-app consent prompt (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform). If you decline, you will still see ads but they will not be personalised.
- Reporting and billing — Google aggregates ad impression and click data so advertisers can be billed.
- Fraud prevention — Google uses device and network signals to detect invalid traffic.
5. Sharing With Third Parties
The only third-party recipient of data from this App is Google, via the Google AdMob SDK. Google's handling of ad data is governed by:
- Google Privacy Policy — policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services — policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
We do not sell your data. We do not share data with any other ad network, analytics provider, or mediation partner — this version of the App integrates only Google AdMob directly, with no mediation waterfall.
6. Your Choices
6.1 Advertising choices
- Reset Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (any time).
- Delete Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (Android 12 and later).
- Limit personalised ads — open the App → revisit the consent prompt to change your choice (EU / EEA / UK / Switzerland).
- Opt out of Ads Personalisation via your Google Account: myadcenter.google.com.
6.2 EU / EEA / UK / Switzerland — GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the data Google holds about you in connection with ad serving
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
Personalised advertising is processed on the basis of your consent, collected via Google's User Messaging Platform. Non-personalised advertising and fraud prevention are processed on the basis of legitimate interest. To exercise rights against our App contact us at rudratech97@gmail.com; for rights against Google's processing, follow Google's controls linked above.
6.3 California — CCPA / CPRA
California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Google AdMob's data collection for personalised advertising may qualify as "sharing" under CCPA. To opt out, set your in-app consent to non-personalised, or configure Limit Ad Tracking on your device. We do not knowingly process the personal information of users under 16 for the purpose of targeted advertising.
6.4 Brazil — LGPD
Brazilian residents may exercise rights of access, correction, anonymisation, deletion, portability, and consent revocation by contacting rudratech97@gmail.com.
7. Data Retention
- Local game data (best score, settings, language preference) is stored on your device and removed when you uninstall the App or clear app data.
- Google AdMob retains ad-serving data per its own policies, linked above.
- We do not operate any first-party server and therefore retain no first-party data.
8. Children
Block Forge is not directed to children under 13. The App's target audience on Google Play is 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it. See also our Children's Policy.
9. International Data Transfers
The App is operated globally. Ad-serving data flows to Google in the United States and other countries where Google's infrastructure operates. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful mechanisms maintained by Google.
10. Security
Local game data resides in Android's app-private storage, isolated from other apps on your device. Network requests to Google AdMob use HTTPS in transit. No internet service is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we use industry-standard measures appropriate to the limited scope of data the App handles.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the App and on this URL. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
